The UL Leibniz Program
supports international mobility on all graduate career stages with the Leibniz-professorship, inviting international visiting scientists and promoting stays abroad. The Leipzig Researcher Development Pro-gram
and UFZ´s career center
promote career development to scientific independence and leadership positions for postdocs. HI-MAG builds on three Independent Young Investigator Groups
as modules for translational research and a career step towards a professorship. Similarly, excellent independent junior research group leaders may be awarded TUD Young Investigator
status to enable the supervision of doctorates independently from senior scientists. The “Future Career Program: Business
” offers training for scientists who plan a career in outside academia.
